I was involved in this project from start to finish whilst working for Sam Winston, initially on work experience and then as a 'proper money job'. The aim was to raise funds to publish the trade edition of A Dictionary Story through the Kickstarter website. From the breathtaking generosity of people who like his work and the amazing outreaching power of the internet, $8485 (£5776) was raised. This was enough to cover the costs of printing and shipping the first edition of the book. The cover was designed by David Pearson.
